At WIPS we believe that an important and essential part of the learning process is the extension of learning into settings outside the classroom. Every learner should experience the outside world as an essential part of learning and personal development, whatever their age, ability or circumstances.
During most units we provide learners with opportunities to participate in local visits to enhance their learning. WIPS learners also take advantage of the many outside communal areas around the school to extend their learning. Year 6 students participate in a residential trip to Rodrigues which encourages independence and teaches real life skills.
